Hoover Damn - it was really hot and we could not take Max onto the Damn. Kids whined the whole time - just too hot and not exciting enough.
Grand Canyon - we loved it, the kids thought it was cool but did not want to spend a whole lot of time there. They were a bit freaked out by the depth and drop as they looked over the railing. Got some pictures, bought some ice-pops and hit the road!

Large bridge allowing traffic to by-pass the Damn - new since our last visit.
Miles and miles of open road!
The Grand Canyon - truly amazing.
